Shift: Shift 1Schedule: Week 1: Monday-Friday; Week 2: Tuesday-Saturday
Job Summary: Provides comprehensive therapeutic recreation services to patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting treatment programs. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the recreation therapist participates in varied departmental activities designed to enhance patient care and programs within Rehabilitation Services. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a rehabilitation setting (preferred)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Therapy (required)
  • Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required or obtained within 6 months of hireAHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) or equivalent required
