Senior Counsel Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior Counsel with 7+ years of experience and a strong background in real estate transactions, particularly real estate lending, joint ventures, and tax credit-related financing.
Responsibilities:
- Represent lenders, investors, and other parties in complex real estate financing transactions
- Draft and negotiate loan and joint venture documents
- Review title commitments, surveys, and recorded documents
- Advise on transactions involving federal and state tax credit programs
- Support financing for a variety of commercial and residential real estate projects
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant legal experience
- Strong recent real estate transactional experience
- Experience with real estate lending and/or joint venture transactions
- Experience with tax credit financing preferred
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Active bar license in the applicable jurisdiction
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $260,000 – $320,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
