Overview: In this role you lead the operational and technical handling of Aviation Claims, aligning with market guidance and regulatory requirements. You will drive continuous improvement in quality, speed, and service while nurturing relationships with clients, brokers, and partners. You'll implement the Claims strategy, develop compliant processes, and oversee performance against targets. This is a chance to shape aviation claims handling at scale within a values-driven, client-focused organization. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee operational and technical management of Aviation Claims to ensure compliant, efficient handling
  • Support and communicate the Claims strategy to meet business targets
  • Develop processes to support compliant, standardized claims operations
  • Forecast Claims activity through analysis to inform decisions
  • Maintain personal caseload for prompt resolution and manage customer service issues
  • Foster strong client relationships with insureds, agents, service providers, and the public
  • Assess recoverable amounts and approve significant claims within authority
Key requirements:
  • Tertiary Degree or equivalent; moderate relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Significant exposure to high risk/high value claims (preferred)
  • Involvement with relevant industry groups (preferred)
  • Moderate insurance experience (unknown level acceptable)
