Staff Product Engineer

Key responsibilities: Become a primary individual contributor on the FinOps team, ramping up on workflows and contributing to project velocity within three months Deliver targeted backend improvements and lead significant projects from design to production within the first six months Own non-project technical initiatives and contribute to engineering culture, achieving measurable gains in quality or velocity

Required qualifications: 8-12 years of backend engineering experience, including senior or staff-level roles Proven experience leading large initiatives and influencing architecture across teams Depth in financial, payments, or transactions systems with a strong understanding of backend and API design A record of establishing engineering standards and practices, such as unit testing and code review Experience working closely with Product, Design, and engineering teams to unblock complex decisions
