Senior Estimator

The Opportunity: This person will develop complete estimates for general contracting projects involving multiple scopes and trades. You will work closely with project managers, operations teams, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the bidding and preconstruction process.

Responsibilities: Prepare estimates from plans, specifications, and scopes of work Perform takeoffs and develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals Identify scope gaps, exclusions, risks, and potential cost impacts Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits Support estimate reviews, negotiations, and project handoffsQualificationsFive or more years of general contracting estimating experience, government/federal experience preferred Experience estimating projects across multiple scopes and trades Strong plan, specification, and subcontractor quote review skills Proficiency with Bluebeam or comparable estimating software Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Federal, military, state, or local government project experience is highly preferred Ability to work primarily onsite in KelsoCompensation and Benefits$100,000 to $150,000+ Discretionary annual bonus Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with a 4% company match PTO Cell phone reimbursementThis is a confidential search managed by Bell & Associates.
