Assistant Store Manager, Fontainebleau - Maison Margiela

Overview: The Assistant Store Manager is the business owner of the store results, accountable for delivering sales and profitability targets while bringing the brand's identity to life in every client interaction. This role leads all aspects of store performance: commercial results, client development, team leadership, visual and operational standards, and compliance with company policy and local labor law. The Assistant Store Manager builds and develops a high-performing team, sets the service standard on the floor, and cultivates lasting client relationships that drive repeat business and local market presence. Success requires balancing entrepreneurial commercial judgment with disciplined execution of brand and corporate guidelines acting as the primary link between the store and headquarters/regional partners in merchandising, HR, operations, and marketing.

Reports To: Store Manager

Qualifications & Skills: 5+ years of experience in retail management or related role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience in retail, luxury retail or service-oriented organization preferred. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts as needed. Previous client book preferred. Financial Management experience. Ethical conduct must lead by example. Learning Orientation and ability to train and teach. Performance Management. Leadership, comfortable having difficult conversations. Elevated market awareness and networking skills

Salary range: $75k-$80k (salaried exempt)
