We are seeking a proactive, self-reliant Associate Corporate Counsel with solid in-house experience for a 3-month fixed-term contract supporting U.S. and Canadian commercial operations. Joining a collaborative North American legal team, you will bring immediate in-house perspective to deliver practical, commercial, and solutions-focused guidance across dynamic business sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply, procurement, service contracts, NDAs, and material transfer agreements.
Partner cross-functionally to provide rapid, business-minded advice on contractual obligations to commercial stakeholders.
Support internal compliance programs, governance tasks, and day-to-day legal operations.
Manage operational legal inquiries using established contract management templates and systems.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school.
Minimum 5 years of legal experience, with proven depth in an in-house corporate legal department.
Demonstrated ability to step into an in-house environment, take ownership, and hit the ground running immediately.
ADMISSION TO THE NEW JERSEY BAR IS ESSENTIALFully remote working available, with occasional travel to the Princeton office (1-2 times in the contract at the most)
