We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for a locum tenens opportunity in a supportive and dynamic inpatient setting near Franklin, Tennessee. This is a call-only position, providing excellent work-life balance and the potential for ongoing assignments.

Schedule:
  • Call-only coverage
  • Average call response time: 30 minutes
  • Beeper call with an average of 2 consults, admissions, and callbacks per 24 hours
  • Patient Care:
  • Average deliveries: 140 per year
  • Unassigned patient rounding

  • Level IV Trauma CenterLevel I Pediatric care16-bed OB/GYN department
  • Support Team:2 RNs per shift
  • No advanced practice providers or office staff required
  • Skills and Responsibilities:
  • The role encompasses a wide range of OB/GYN skills, including:
Obstetrics: Management of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies Fetal heart rate interpretation and basic OB ultrasounds Routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACsRepair of 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations Gynecology: Office procedures such as IUD insertion/removal, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEPSurgical gynecology, including laparoscopic and major operative cases
Requirements: Active Tennessee medical license Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and EFMMust have TN Medicaid enrollment or eligibility
