We're looking for a dependable Shop Helper / Pallet Builder to support our manufacturing operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, building products, staying active throughout the day, and contributing to a team-oriented environment. You'll help build pallets and shipping crates, assist throughout the shop, and provide backup support for sandblasting operations when needed. If you're motivated, safety-conscious, and willing to learn, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do: Build and repair wooden pallets, skids, and shipping hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and staging products. Support production, fabrication, shipping, and receiving departments as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform general shop duties and housekeeping tasks. Provide backup support for sandblasting operations when required. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Assist with inventory organization and material movement throughout the facility.
What We're Looking For: Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas of the shop. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Manufacturing, warehouse, construction, carpentry, or shop experience is a plus. Sandblasting experience is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and manual material handling. Ability to work safely around machinery and production equipment. Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots.
