Staff Backend Engineer, Global Payments & Billing

Scribd, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Payments & Billing Platform lead to architect and scale our global subscription backbone. You will own backend services, integrate with Stripe, Adyen, and Braintree, and ensure financial reliability across Scribd, Everand, Slideshare, and Fable. You will champion PCI scope controls, data security, and the use of AI agents to improve reliability and speed without compromising accuracy.
