Pay Range: $66.3126 / Hour

Job Summary: The Technologist will process the day-to-day activities and workflow on a given shift within the lab. This will include ensuring SOPs, practices, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations are followed.

Responsibilities:

Triaging and performing product testing
Ensuring optimal product inventory levels
Overseeing quality control on automated testing instruments
Identifying and implementing process improvements

Requirements:

Valid NYS License for Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Knowledgeable in both NYSDOH and Joint Commission Regulatory requirements for Blood Bank
Minimum of 5 years experience in Transfusion Medicine
Knowledge of a computerized laboratory information system
Ability to interpret lab results and prepare slides for study
Effective communication skills
Bachelor's Degree required
