Automation Control Electromechanical Technician

Job Description: Machinery Manufacturer in need of Qualified Technicians with Strong Automation Mechanical and Electrical background required. Position requires Electrical and Mechanical assembly, machinery setup, training and troubleshooting both remotely (via phone) remotely and on site (travel required). - PLC and Programming Experience is a Huge Plus, however must have mechanical and electrical troubleshooting as main strengths! Searching for candidates with an Automation and Controls background who has a strong understanding of Electrical - Mechanical and trouble-shooting (critical thinking).

• Attention-to-Detail & Quality Focus while multi-tasking
• Reading and understanding complex assembly drawings, electrical schematics, wire lists and pneumatic schematics.
• Understand and can instruct on point-to-point continuity testing for troubleshooting electrical.
• Electrical panel assembly and wiring
• Machine Startup, Setup and Runoff for prior to shipment approvals
• Training of End Users on site at client's facility - some travel required
• Works well in a team manufacturing environment.
• Sales and Service oriented personality
• Contributes to team effort by performing related tasks as needed.~~ Machinery or Automation Controls Background is a strong plus~~ Troubleshooting, repair, and programming is a strong plus (PLC, Controls & General Electric)

Technical phone support, sales of replacement parts to existing clients and service report documentation per ticket. Machinery / Technical Sales Experience a PUS!
