Flux-Cored Arc Welder

Responsibilities: Perform welding operations using various techniques Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to determine specifications Set up and operate welding equipment and tools Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion Adhere to AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.5 or applicable code Operation of a forklift and overhead crane Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products Install and repair various equipment and components Follow blueprints to meet product specifications Calculate material measurements to verify specifications Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent 2+ years experience as a Welder/Fabricator Proficient in various welding techniques, including GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, FCAWFamiliarity with basic hand tools Mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper and micrometer Strong attention to detail and quality control Must pass 2G, 3G, and 4G weld test Familiarity with welding tools and procedures Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics Ability to handle physical workload
