Salary Range:
$75,000-$95,000 annually Are you an engineer who enjoys taking new products from concept through production? We are seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to lead New Product Introduction and manufacturing-improvement projects within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This position works closely with customers, Production, Quality, and suppliers to improve manufacturability, cost, quality, and production performance.
What You'll Do:
Manage multiple NPI and manufacturing-engineering projects. Lead projects through an established NPI Tollgate process. Coordinate schedules, resources, milestones, budgets, and deliverables. Improve manufacturing productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost. Work with customers to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective. Design manufacturing processes, fixtures, components, and tooling. Support Production through root-cause investigations and corrective actions. Partner with Quality to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Support ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements. Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods to process improvements.
What We're Looking For:
Associate's degree in Engineering or a related discipline required; bachelor's degree preferred. Manufacturing experience involving injection molding, CNC machining, composites, assembly, or bonding. Experience supporting NPI, product-development, or manufacturing-engineering projects. Ability to read engineering drawings; GD&T experience preferred. CAD or mechanical-design experience; Solid Works preferred. Strong project-management, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Experience with Cimatron, Moldflow, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is a plus.
