Pomeroy Living is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to support engaging, person-centered programs for our senior residents. In this Healthcare & Medical Services role, you will plan and lead recreational, social, and wellness activities that promote dignity, independence, and joy. Working closely with nursing and caregiving teams, you’ll adapt activities to individual abilities, observe and report notable changes, and help maintain a safe, homely environment. Plan and lead daily recreational and wellness activities for senior residents Encourage participation and adapt activities to individual abilities and care plans Monitor residents during programs and promptly report concerns to nursing staff Support a safe, clean, and engaging environment in activity spaces Collaborate with clinical and caregiving teams to align activities with resident needs Assist with special events, family programs, and community outings Maintain accurate attendance and activity documentation Follow infection control and safety protocols during all activities Patient activity planning Group facilitation Senior care support Observation and reporting Basic infection control Safety and fall prevention Documentation in EHR/records Mobility and transfer assistance Communication with clinical staff Dementia/Alzheimer’s support Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CPR and First Aid certification preferred Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or equivalent a plus Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) a plus Training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care preferred
