Location: Remote; involves regular travel to event destinations
Do you have production experience, a talent for keeping projects and teams on track, and a positive, can-do attitude? Would you like to help make world-class meetings and special events come to life for Fortune and Global 500 clients? This could be a fantastic opportunity for you! Morley operates domestic and international meetings and events for top industry clients. As a Production Manager, you'll be the project navigator who keeps the production/project team moving. You'll work under the support and direction of the Producer and in partnership with clients, Morley operations staff and production suppliers as we work together to plan and execute live events.
What You'll Do:
- Schedule and produce meetings
- Record and distribute project discovery notes
- Pre-production - plan and track production deliverables
- Manage and communicate production objectives
- Create, manage and distribute the production timeline to keep the team on track
- Track, review, maintain and reconcile the production budget
- Forecast and administer production accounts payable
- Inventory program content and assets
- Manage pre-production and on-site materials and media
- Coordinate and distribute production direction and info on site
- Create and manage production schedules
- Manage crew logistics, travel and expenses
- Track and distribute the production run-of-show
- Handle on-site administration, venue logistics and production management for production staff and crew
- Ultimately, successfully deliver the production to the client
- What to Expect: Schedule & TravelOur work requires the flexibility to travel (approx. 15-35% of the time) and accommodate a varied schedule. This role involves:
- Initial on-site training:
- Five to 10 days at our corporate headquarters - Saginaw, Michigan
- Travel arrangements, lodging and cost reimbursement provided
- Daily operations:
Remote: work from home
Monday through Friday8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern | 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central | 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mountain | 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern time After-hours support at times (high-priority or timely projects, or to fit client schedules) Planned meetings/events: Travel on location Schedule varies; includes nights/weekends Potential ad-hoc travel (e.g., venue selection, pre-production site visits) Questions Before You Apply? Eligibility Requirements
Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
College degree and/or relevant experience in live event production planning and execution with high school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated understanding of creative and practical production
Able and willing to travel and accommodate a variable schedule (per above)
Nice to Have:
- An understanding and working use of CADA working knowledge of photography, videography and related editing platforms
- Practical experience in stage management and/or basic audio/visual operational skills
- Working relationships/partnerships with vendors and contractors in the event production industryCAPM and/or PMP certification
