This role involves the mechanical construction of molds and dies, applying standard mold-making techniques within very close tolerances. We are recuitng for two locations in Cleveland and Brecksville, OH.
Position Details:
Shifts Available: 2nd and 3rd shift (3rd shift available at the Cleveland location only).
Pay Rate:
$30.00 to $40.00 per hour plus 20% shift premiumSecond Shift Premium:20%Work Location: Cleveland, OH or Brecksville, OH
Benefits:
Comprehensive benefit package starting on day one, including several insurance plans, 401(k) with 3% automatic deposit plus 6% company match, overtime bonuses and moreOvertime: Bonus of $250.00 when working over 55 hours in a given week. Double time on Sundays if you choose to work that day.
Responsibilities:
Interpret design blueprints to develop die/mold making plansLead the construction of multiple products simultaneouslyInspect own work using various instrumentsCollaborate with Engineering and Programming throughout the manufacturing processOperate multiple machines (e.g., Bridgeport, Grinders, Saws, EDM)
Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years in tool/mold making with close tolerance work or Journeyman's Tool and Die Maker CertificationExperience with molds is a PLUS!
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalentMust have personal tools and toolboxCandidates with state-issued Journeyman's papers or 8+ years of job shop experience are preferred and may qualify for higher payAbility to work independently and within a teamProficiency in Basic Math and TrigonometryIn-depth knowledge of the tooling processMust pass pre-employment background screeningsLegal Requirements: This position requires U.S. person status under ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
