The summer investment analyst will be assigned an industry group to research, have access to the full resources of the firm, and make investment recommendations to the broader team at the end of the summer. Hotchkis & Wiley considers the summer internship program as a vital source of full-time hiring. Specific job responsibilities will include: Undertaking fundamental industry analysis including competitive threats and opportunities, growth potential, and industry evolution Creating detailed company research, including financial projections and valuation Collaborating with our sector teams to refine the investment thesis and vetting investment ideas through the peer review process
