Full-Time Meridian, ID (Boise & Nampa Coverage) Clinic + Inpatient CareAre you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ready to grow in a dynamic specialty? Join a collaborative Gastroenterology team where you ll deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across both outpatient and inpatient settings. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in GI while working alongside experienced specialists in a supportive environment.
Position Overview: As an Advanced Practice Provider, you ll play a key role in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions, coordinating care plans, and guiding patients through treatment and prevention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including history and physical exams
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
  • Diagnose GI conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care
  • Educate patients on conditions, procedures, and preventive care
  • Ensure continuity of care across clinic and inpatient settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation ( EPIC experience a plus )Collaborate with gastroenterologists and multidisciplinary teams
  • Stay current with clinical best practices and ongoing education
Qualifications:
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Active Idaho license (or ability to obtain)
  • Master s degree required (Doctorate preferred)1+ year of Gastroenterology experience required
  • Experience in clinic, hospital, ER, or specialty care settings
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and documentation standards
  • ScheduleMonday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Clinic)
  • Inpatient rotations based on coverage needs
  • Occasional night call
