Market President

About the Role: The Company is in search of a Market President for its Central Market. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a portfolio of sites across multiple cities, each with its own Executive Director and team. This senior leadership role involves managing, advising, and coaching Executive Directors to ensure strong site performance, operational discipline, revenue growth, and effective partnerships with schools and districts. The Market President will also be accountable for the Central Market's annual operating and long-term goals, connecting local site work with national strategy, and driving revenue and stakeholder strategy. The ideal candidate should be a seasoned, people-centered operator with a proven track record in managing senior leaders, complex budgets, and building relationships with external stakeholders. Applicants for the Market President position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive senior leadership experience in a large, complex, multi-site organization. The role requires a candidate with strong communication skills, the ability to make data-driven decisions, and a background in managing financial and revenue performance. Experience in education, youth development, national service, or a similar mission-driven sector is preferred. The Market President will be expected to lead through financial pressure, organizational change, and complex stakeholder dynamics, and to contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
