Prior trial experience, moot court, or mock trial experience (at least 1 year preferred). Litigation Management: Managing diverse caseloads and representing clients in complex litigation matters in various businesses (e.g., airplane owners, airlines, pilots, aviation maintenance companies, repair shops, aviation manufacturers, component manufacturers, maintenance crews, Fixed-Based Operators, Private charter operations, and more).. Litigation Support: Provide litigation support to the Managing Litigation Attorney as needed.. The Litigation Associate Attorney will not have any direct reports.. The role will report directly to the Managing Litigation Attorney.
Electrical equipment types included, but not limited to low, medium and high voltage switchgear, panelboards and transformers, data and communication systems, fire alarm systems, lighting systems, electrical appliances, etc.. Field work to document as-built conditions and damage to electrical systems and equipment as a result of natural (wind, water, fire, earth movement, etc.). and/or human induced origins (design, construction errors/omissions and product defects).. Knowledge of national building and construction codes (ICC, NEC, NFPA, etc.). Experience in providing Litigation Support including Expert Testimony at Depositions and/or Trial, Mediation and Arbitration proceedings, desirable.
