Performs all administrative, operations and maintenance (O&M) functions, and routines required on Inside Plant (ISP) systems and equipment, including telephone switching equipment, voice mail system, Telephone Management System (TMS), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) programming, firewall and other ancillary equipment and systems directly connected to the switch.. May assist with work order and trouble ticket administration within the Telephone Management System (TMS).. Five years of ISP experience on maintenance, installation, testing, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems. Knowledge and experience with Avaya and VoIP communications systems. Requires GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), CompTIA Security +, or System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification within 6 months of hire
