Abacus Technology is seeking a Telecommunications Mechanic II to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of wireless LAN (WLAN) and Inside Plant (ISP) telecommunications infrastructure at Fort Bragg.. Must hold one of the following certifications: Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) or Certified Wireless Design Professional (CWDP).. Additional work-related certifications desired including: Cisco Certified Network Associate - Wireless (CCNA Wireless), BICSI Installer 1 (INST1), and/or BICSI Installer 2 (INST2).. Proficient in network cable installation, including fiber optic, CAT6, and structured cabling best practices.. Familiar with DoD network security tools, including ACAS, HBSS, and DISA STIG compliance.
