KLB Group is hiring: Project Buyer – Construction / Industrial Renovation – Los Angeles. As part of an industrial workshop renovation project in Los Angeles, KLB Group is looking for an experienced Project Buyer to join its team.. Oversee all procurement processes for the industrial renovation project. Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.). An international consulting firm focused on delivering operational project support

Daily activities will include anything from interacting with architects and engineers on design or construction issues, to working through the permitting process with the City of Houston, to managing the bidding and selection process for contractors and sub-contractors, to walking job sites to ensure construction activity is aligned with the plans and specifications for the project, to punch list development and project turn over to occupants once the Certificate of Occupancy is received. The scope of this position includes all things involved in and related to major capital projects management and delivery in a major academic medical institution facility. Occasionally work with risk management on insurance or FEMA claims. Degree in engineering, engineering technology, construction management or architecture. Effectively embrace the randomness of issues that arise on a daily or hourly basis.
