Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

BJC HealthCare seeks a CRNA at Missouri Baptist Medical Center to deliver safe, compassionate anesthesia care across a range of surgical and procedural services. In this on-site role, you will perform pre-anesthesia assessments, develop and implement individualized plans, administer general and regional anesthesia, and manage patients throughout the perioperative continuum. Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients at Missouri Baptist Medical Center Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, develop individualized anesthesia plans, and obtain informed consent Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care and manage patient airways and hemodynamics Continuously monitor patients intraoperatively and adjust anesthesia to ensure safety and comfort Coordinate post-anesthesia care, including pain management and recovery assessment Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and comply with all regulatory standards Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and evidence-based practice projects Educate patients and families on anesthesia plans, risks, and post-procedure expectations Engage in ongoing professional development and support resident/learner education as appropriate Anesthesia administration (general, regional, MAC) Airway management and ventilator management Hemodynamic monitoring and management Pre-anesthesia evaluation and risk assessment Post-anesthesia care and pain management Pharmacology of anesthetic and adjunct medications Patient and family education Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Crisis management and response to intraoperative emergencies Interdisciplinary teamwork and communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (preferred/role-dependent) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Eligibility for Missouri state APRN/CRNA licensure
