Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

BJC Healthcare invites qualified and dedicated nursing professionals to join our team at Missouri Baptist Medical Center as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). This role is pivotal in providing the highest level of anesthesia care in our state-of-the-art facilities, where emphasis is placed on quality, safety, and the overall comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Working collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals, you will be part of a caring and skilled team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. Administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care before, during, and after surgical, therapeutic, diagnostic, and obstetric procedures. Monitor, record, and maintain patients' conditions before, during and after anesthesia. Communicate and collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate exemplary patient care and outcomes. Participate in pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation to ensure readiness for surgery. Ensure proper post-operative management of patients to facilitate recovery from anesthesia and minimize complications. Proficiency in various types of anesthesia procedures and techniques. Strong decision-making skills and critical thinking capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certified.
