Director of Sales

Our client, a leading provider of renewable energy and biogas solutions is seeking a senior business development and sales leader to drive growth across the renewable natural gas (RNG), biogas, anaerobic digestion, landfill gas, and wastewater treatment markets. This executive will lead market expansion, originate and advance complex capital projects, and build strategic partnerships that support long-term growth. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales and market development strategy across targeted sectors. The executive will originate new project opportunities, expand relationships with developers and owners, and convert qualified leads into awarded EPC and technology projects. The position requires direct engagement with customers and partners to evaluate project requirements, articulate the company’s technical and commercial value proposition, and advance opportunities through feasibility, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution. Close collaboration with engineering, estimating, legal, and executive leadership is essential to delivering competitive, bankable project solutions. This leader will manage internal and external sales resources and represent the organization at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings. The role also includes responsibility for market intelligence, competitive analysis, policy and incentive tracking (e.g., LCFS, RINs, IRA), CRM pipeline management, and EPC booking forecasts. The executive serves as the primary client contact through project award and handoff to execution and plays a key role in developing strategic partnerships with technology licensors, equipment suppliers, financiers, and consultants.
