To support a growing practice, the part-time Virginia Licensed Tax Senior will prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, manage client engagements, and collaborate with team members in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations
Manage assigned engagements, deadlines, and deliverables while communicating with clients
Research tax issues and identify potential planning opportunities for clients
Required qualifications:
Experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance
Ability to manage multiple assignments independently in a remote environment
Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
CPA or EA credential is a plus
