The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency and adherence to safety protocols to support accurate diagnoses.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of CT procedures independently, ensuring high-quality imaging outcomes.
Obtain intravenous access for contrast injection when required.
Prioritize and organize daily workflow to meet departmental efficiency standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines, including dress code requirements.
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of CT/PET imaging experience.
- Current EPIC EMR system experience.
- Valid NY State Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT certification (CT).Current BLS certification.
- Ability to operate GE CT scanners and perform contrast injections.
- Must have own vehicle to be eligible for assignments.
