You’ll own the quarterly and annual close for the funds, manage the administrator relationship, and tighten up the operational processes that sit around the books. This is a seat for someone who likes being both technical and hands-on with process.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee NAV calculations, capital activity, waterfalls, and fund-level reporting across multiple vehicles
- Review quarterly financials, partner capital statements, and annual audited financials, and coordinate with auditors through year-end
- Manage the relationship with third-party administrators and review their work product
- Own cash movements, capital calls, distributions, and the controls around them
- Partner with investor relations, tax, legal, and compliance on investor reporting, side letters, and fund documents
- Improve workflows across fund operations, including reconciliations, onboarding of new vehicles, and system and data integrity
- Lead and develop a team of 4 to 6 accountants and analysts
- Support new fund launches and acquisitions from an accounting and operations standpoint
Requirements:
- 8 to 15 years of fund accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a management role
- CPA preferred
- Strong knowledge of partnership accounting, allocations, and fund structures (master/feeder, SPVs, co-invests)
