Leading complex bridge and transportation structure projects, the full-time Ohio Licensed Bridge Engineer will manage design and delivery from planning through construction support, working remotely within Ohio or surrounding states.
Key responsibilities: Lead the design and delivery of bridge projects, ensuring compliance with structural integrity and regulatory standards Prepare and review technical documentation, including structural calculations and bridge plans Oversee project teams and collaborate with various engineering disciplines and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges
Required qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering 4+ years of experience in bridge engineering or transportation structures Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio Experience with highway bridges, pedestrian bridges, and related transportation structures Strong knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and state DOT standards
