To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Audit Specialist will perform reconciliations of transactions, audit payment postings for accuracy, and resolve discrepancies related to insurance and patient payments.
Key responsibilities: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of revenue cycle transactions, including payments and adjustments Audit payment posting activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures Analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred 3+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, auditing, or related financial operations Experience with medical billing systems and electronic remittance files required Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools Experience performing account reconciliations and variance analysis required
