Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Travel

In this role, you'll deliver high-quality emergency care, rapidly assess and triage patients, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. You'll document care accurately, respond to critical situations, and educate patients and families. Provide emergency nursing care to diverse, high-acuity patients during night shifts Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of incoming ER patients Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders and protocols Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient status, escalating changes promptly Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on care plans Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital policies at all times Support a positive, patient-centered experience in a fast-paced ER environment Coordinate with Advantis Medical Staffing for assignment requirements and compliance Emergency nursing Triage xevrcyc and rapid assessment IV insertion and medication administration Cardiac monitoring ACLS protocols PALS or ENPC protocols Ventilator management Wound care and suturing assistance Electronic medical records (EMR) Infection control and safety compliance Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license (state compact or TX) BLS certification ACLS certification PALS or ENPC certification TNCC preferred Prior travel nursing experience preferred
