Labor & Employment Associate (Denver)

What You Will Do: Manage a diverse caseload of employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour cases. Take ownership of discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, and conducting depositions. Work closely with clients to provide strategic counsel on a wide range of employment issues, including drafting policies and employee handbooks. Draft and argue motions, prepare for hearings, and represent clients in court and before administrative agencies like the EEOC.Advise employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Contribute to a busy and growing practice group with a steady stream of sophisticated work.

Ideal Candidate: Background 3-5 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a strong litigation background. Admission to the Colorado bar is required. Proven experience in drafting pleadings and motions, as well as managing litigation processes. Ability to provide strategic advice to clients on employment-related issues and compliance matters. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and colleagues.

Preferred: Experience working with a diverse client base across various industries. Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Prior experience in a busy law firm environment, handling multiple cases simultaneously.
