Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, negotiating rates and securing capacity to meet customer demands
Utilize technology platforms to match carriers with freight opportunities and ensure timely communication between carriers and logistics teams
Proactively resolve issues during freight movement and collaborate with sales and operations teams to analyze freight trends and carrier performance
Required qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in freight brokerage or a similar role, specifically in FTL
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving skills with quick decision-making abilities
