New Grad RN

Parkridge Health Network, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a New Grad RN to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a collaborative hospital setting. Under the guidance of experienced nurses and physicians, you’ll perform patient assessments, administer medications, and support treatment plans for diverse populations. You’ll document in the EMR, educate patients and families, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds. New grads benefit from a structured residency, preceptorship, and ongoing education, with strong focus on teamwork, quality, innovation, and patient satisfaction. Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult and pediatric patients under RN supervision Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately in the EMR Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions Participate in clinical rounds, handoffs, and quality/safety initiatives Respond to emergencies, following hospital protocols and escalation pathways Preceptorship participation, ongoing learning, and completion of new grad residency requirements Patient assessment Medication administration Clinical documentation (EMR) Basic life support (BLS) Telemetry monitoring IV insertion and management Wound care Care planning Patient and family education Infection control Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Completion or enrollment in nurse residency program
