Position Summary: This position is for a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) who will be working a night shift schedule. The role involves providing patient care in a short-term acute care facility. The selected candidate will be required to float between units as necessary. Shift Details

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Weekends: Required every other weekend

On-call: Not required

Job Responsibilities: Administer nursing care to assigned patients. Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team. Utilize rapid response/code teams as needed. Manage the care of peripheral lines and perform nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management. Administer oxygen and ensure compliance with isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Certification: BLS certification required.

Licensure: Must possess a valid state nursing license (compact license accepted).Charting System Experience: Familiarity with any charting system. Community Hospital Experience: Preferred but not mandatory.

Special Requirements: Must be able to float between sister facilities as required. Must commit to working 3 out of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).Participation in orientation and completion of required modules is expected.
