Key Responsibilities: As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will assume critical responsibilities that directly impact patient recovery and rehabilitation: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to obtain an understanding of their physical conditions, medical history, and unique symptoms. Utilize assessment tools to diagnose movement dysfunction and design individualized treatment plans that may involve manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training. Implement effective therapeutic exercise techniques and educate patients on their correct usage to maximize rehabilitation outcomes. Provide physical interventions such as massage or manipulatory therapy to alleviate pain and promote healing. Assist patients with the use of mobility aids, such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other adaptive equipment to enhance their autonomy and safety. Keep detailed, organized patient records that track progress and set achievable rehabilitation goals, ensuring continuity of care. Advise patients and their families on at-home treatment options, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing recovery. Qualifications: The ideal candidate must possess: A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution. A valid physical therapy license to practice in the state of New Jersey. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with the healthcare team. Proficient computer skills, specifically in documentation and reporting software used in physical therapy practices. The ability to adapt to changing environments and demonstrate flexibility in patient care delivery.
