You’ve helped a startup grow, not just by closing your own deals but by building the sales motion and developing the people behind it. Now you want to do it again without stepping away from customers. Our client is building an AI-powered platform that helps independent hotels grow revenue without the complexity of disconnected software, agencies, and manual work. Starting with digital marketing, the platform brings revenue-driving workflows into one system, giving hotel owners more time to run their properties. The product is already winning customers through outbound sales and solving an urgent business problem. Now they need a player-coach who’s hungry to turn that early traction into a repeatable GTM engine and build the team that runs it. What you'll own Run discovery, demos, and closes with hotel owners and operators while carrying your own quota. Build the sales playbook: messaging, qualification, objection handling, follow-up, and customer handoffs. Establish pipeline discipline, forecasting, and clear performance metrics. Identify priority customer segments and sharpen outbound alongside the GTM team. Hire, onboard, and coach reps as the sales organization grows. Work directly with the founder, bringing customer insights into product and commercial decisions. Use AI to reduce administrative work and give the team more time to sell. Who we’re looking for An excellent seller with a builder’s mindset. Someone who wants more ownership, not less time with customers. This isn’t a leadership seat removed from the sales floor. You’ll be in the calls, learning the market, setting the standard, and building a system others can succeed in. You’ll likely bring: You’ve played a meaningful, hands-on role in successfully scaling sales at an early-stage, high-growth startup. You can explain what you personally built and what grew because of it. You’ve managed and developed a sales team with clear results. You’ve sold to SMB owners, operators, or other nontechnical buyers in a high-volume, short-cycle environment. Ideally, you’re familiar with deals closing in days rather than months. You’ve helped build and scale repeatable acquisition channels rather than relying only on your own selling ability. You’re still a strong closer and want a role where personal selling and leadership sit together. You build trust quickly, stay organized, and know how to turn sales data into practical decisions. You’re comfortable with early-stage ambiguity and enjoy working closely with an ambitious, in-person team. Hospitality experience is a plus, but adjacent industries absolutely count. Experience at a successful startup backed by top-tier investors is highly valued; your personal contribution to its growth matters more than the logo on your résumé.Why this opportunity Ownership: Shape the sales strategy, playbook, process, and team.
