Salary Range: $41,000 - $61,000 depending on experience

Usual Responsibilities: Unload and load trucks using a forklift or pallet jack. Inspect incoming materials for damage and report discrepancies. Record received goods in the inventory system and apply labels. Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders for shipment. Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading and packing lists. Keep the dock and warehouse areas clean and organized. Coordinate with production and purchasing on material shortages. Receive incoming shipments and verify counts against packing slips.
Recommended Qualifications: Prior warehouse or shipping and receiving experience. Forklift certification or ability to obtain one. Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Attention to detail for accurate counts and documentation. High school diploma or equivalent.
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Valid driver license for yard moves or local deliveries.
  • Experience with ERP or warehouse management software.
  • Knowledge of DOT and carrier shipping requirements.
  • Hazmat handling training.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
