CT TechOur client, a leading health system in Lakewood, CO, is seeking a CT Tech to perform high-quality CT images and exams, providing essential patient care within the medical imaging department while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.
Responsibilities: Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients, and all other individuals. Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA).Produces quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner. Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs. Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient's condition. Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.
Requirements:
  • Required**:High School Diploma or GEDARRT (CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T) or CNMT registry required or ARRT (R) with CT training
  • State Radiology Tech license for those working at a Kansas siteBLS, American Heart Association
  • One (1) year of related experience
  • Preferred**:Associate's Degree, is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • ScheduleFull Time
  • Compensation$35.43 - $59.68/hour
