EMS Coordinator Registered Nurse

As an EMS Coordinator RN at HCA Healthcare, you will coordinate and enhance emergency medical services across hospital and pre-hospital settings. You will serve as a clinical liaison to EMS agencies, support protocol development, and ensure seamless patient handoffs. Responsibilities include organizing EMS education and outreach, monitoring quality and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards, analyzing performance data, and leading improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with physicians, nursing, and EMS leadership to optimize emergency response, promote patient-centered care, and support staff training and professional development. Coordinate and oversee EMS-related clinical programs and initiatives Serve as liaison between hospital staff and EMS agencies Develop, implement, and update EMS protocols and policies Plan and deliver EMS education, training, and community outreach Monitor quality metrics and regulatory compliance for EMS activities Analyze performance and outcome data to drive process improvements Facilitate seamless patient handoffs from pre-hospital to hospital care Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and EMS leadership on emergency response Support staff competency development in emergency and pre-hospital care Participate in emergency preparedness planning and drills Emergency nursing Clinical assessment Care coordination Quality improvement Regulatory compliance Data analysis and reporting Education and training development EMS protocol knowledge Communication and collaboration Emergency preparedness planning Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS certification ACLS certification PALS certification preferred TN state RN license or compact equivalent Experience in emergency or critical care nursing Familiarity with EMS systems and protocols
