Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and results-driven Residential Sales Representatives (1099 Independent Contractors) to expand our residential furniture sales business (Catherine's Home) across designated U.S. territories. This role is responsible for developing dealer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving residential furniture sales growth within assigned regions. This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity with commission and incentive earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residential furniture retailers, dealers, and distributors
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territories
  • Present company products, pricing, and sales programs to prospective clients
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts
  • Conduct regular market visits and customer meetings
  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding product availability, customer needs, and sales support
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and business development goals
  • Provide regular sales updates and territory reports
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in furniture sales, residential sales, or related industry preferred
  • Existing dealer or retailer relationships strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed
  • Proficient in basic business communication and reporting
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Compensation1099 Independent Contractor position
