Quality Control Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee quality assurance for a heavy mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) upgrade project. The QCM will ensure all work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Control Plan (QCP). Conduct inspections and coordinate testing for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ensure compliance with contract specifications, codes, and standards. Monitor subcontractor work to ensure quality and workmanship standards are met. Maintain accurate quality control documentation, reports, and logs. Identify deficiencies and ensure timely corrective actions. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and client representatives. Lead quality meetings and provide updates on project quality status. Ensure site safety and quality procedures are followed at all times.

Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience as a QCM or in construction quality control. Valid QCM Certification (such as USACE/NAVFAC CQM-C or equivalent). Strong experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals. Knowledge of construction quality standards and safety regulations. Strong problem-solving and attention to detail. Good communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
