Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the California Loan Servicing Specialist will manage post-closing duties related to various loan servicing functions, including loan boarding, payment processing, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Process loan documentation and disburse funds at closing, ensuring accurate data entry in the loan accounting system
Handle all monetary transactions, including payments, advances, and loan maintenance activities
Review daily reports to ensure GL information balances and clear non-posted transactions as necessary
Required qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in loan processing and accounting
Proficiency in loan accounting and servicing functions, particularly in commercial and real estate lending
Strong knowledge of banking laws, policies, and procedures
Ability to analyze and resolve work-related problems effectively
Familiarity with personal computers and various software applications, including financial systems software
