Unit Type: Emergency Department
Number of Beds: 38 Main Areas: Rapid, Main, POD 3 (psych safe area) Staffing: 7 RNs for Day and Night shifts; 5 Mid Shift RNsType of Equipment: Ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, Arterial Lines, Belmont, Chest Tubes Electronic Medical Record: Meditech
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Perform procedures such as Port Placement and Chest Tubes
- Utilize various medical equipment as needed
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
Required Skills: Prioritization and Time Management De-escalation Course (CPI preferred)

Team Player Personality FitThe ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, a team player, and possesses a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the team.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications are required. Candidates may float to other areas as needed.
- Work Schedule
- Minimum requirement of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays per 4-week schedule2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays are required
