Licensed Behavioral Health Care Manager

Key responsibilities: Monitors inpatient and outpatient care services to ensure medical necessity and effectiveness Provides telephone triage, crisis intervention, and emergency authorizations as assigned Develops and oversees the implementation of discharge plans in collaboration with providers and facilities

Required qualifications: Current licensure as CEAP, LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LSW, or RN Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance abuse setting Knowledge of utilization management procedures and community resources for mental health and substance abuse Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings Ability to analyze utilization problems and implement solutions to improve quality of care
