To support a growing accounting team, the full-time remote Multi-State Licensed Accountant will manage tax reporting and compliance across multiple states, handle employee onboarding and payroll reporting, and assist with audits and financial reconciliations.
Key responsibilities: Assist with all tax reporting and compliance for state, local, and federal regulations using Avalara and payroll processor Handle employee onboarding/offboarding and payroll reporting into NetSuite GL, ensuring accurate payroll and tax compliance Document accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field At least 3 years of general accounting experience, preferably within a SaaS company Experience using NetSuite and Avalara in a professional setting Understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and multi-state tax compliance requirements Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookup formulas
