Key responsibilities:
Improve the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation through extensive interaction with healthcare teams
Facilitate modifications to clinical documentation to ensure appropriate reimbursement for services
Organize and interpret information related to various policies, procedures, and programs within the medical center
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
5 years of recent ER and/or critical care clinical experience in a hospital setting
Experience in utilization review and/or as a clinical documentation specialist preferred
