Drone Show Choreographer / Programmer

The Role: We're looking for a Drone Show Choreographer / Programmer who can translate a client's vision into drone formations, movement, and visual sequences. You'll collaborate with SkyGlow's creative f and production team to develop show concepts, program and refine choreography, align visuals with music or event moments, and prepare show files for production. We prefer someone who can work with our team locally and participate in live shows, but remote programming may be possible for the right candidate. Full-time, part-time, and contract arrangements are under consideration; the final scope will depend on the candidate and SkyGlow's needs.

Qualifications: Experience creating animation, motion design, drone-show choreography, or other programmed visual sequences. Proficiency with Blender, Houdini, Drone Show Creator (DSC) SSPH - Path 3, or comparable tools relevant to the work. A portfolio or examples that demonstrate both creative judgment and technical execution. Strong attention to timing, visual composition, and the details needed to turn a concept into a finished show. Ability to collaborate with a team, respond to feedback, and communicate clearly about creative and technical decisions. Ability to work in a fast paced environment, when needed. Experience in live entertainment, lighting, audio, or drone-show production is a plus. We're interested in people with relevant work to show, regardless of whether they have a particular degree.
